I assume we're talking about Andrew Knizner, catcher for the Cardinals.
If so, he lost rookie eligibility in 2021, so should never have been on NA list. Not sure how he was still on NA list, but commish needs to make ruling on whether he actually should be on Cards roster.

While it's not St. Louis' fault exactly as he should have been removed 2021 & 2022. Apparently it was missed? Or possibly was just assumed he was still eligible? Either way as presedence has been sent with Houston losing Corey Julks HOU - OF due to him reaching over 130 ABs this season while he was still on Houston's MiLB roster. I have to stay the course in all cases, and so Andrew is being declared a Free Agent eligible for bidding at the MLB minimum ($720,000). I suggest all teams manage their MiLB rosters and make moves if needed before the BOD catches any more mistakes on illegal MiLB roster spots. Especially those teams juggling SPs that are under 50 IP, once they reach 50 IP or 130 ABs I will declare their League Free Agency and drop them from your roster without advance notice. |
