Sean Manaea is still FA on Yahoo. He isn’t rookie eligible. How long does a manager have to put a player on their roster.? We are 10 days into season and Seattle hasn’t picked up yet.

Sean Manaea is still FA on Yahoo. He isn’t rookie eligible. How long does a manager have to put a player on their roster.? We are 10 days into season and Seattle hasn’t picked up yet. With the late start due to having 6 new members of the league join us I had announced before the MLB season started that all teams would have until 4/14/23 to get Cap & Roster compliant. So they(Seattle) are still able to carry more than 26 players on their roster. All teams have 6 days until the deadline to get there, so unless teams are working out trades to improve their team rosters before the deadline I would expect teams to get it figured out fast, if not all players not assigned as their 26 player rosters to start the season will become Free Agents available for bidding at their current contracts and teams will not be allowed to start a Free Agent bid on their players as per the League Rules. Hope that clears up any confusion going forward? |
