Milt/Gordon/Jeff,
What’s the official ruling on Franco’s status in COBRA? Do I have to keep on my active roster or is there an NA option?
What did we do with Bauer??

In my other league.. where I have Franco.. I've basically been told tough titties in this situation. Either hold him or risk losing him through waivers (we have a waiver system there) for the rest of the year. Our buyouts are frozen after the trade deadline.

I’m good with anything here. Have the roster space to park him on my bench if needed so was curious.
I assume this will be handled exactly like the Bauer situation, I just didn’t remember how we did that.

It looks like it was in the Cubs roster moves. On page... 7ish or something. I just went through until I got close to the July 1st date cause the situation happened in July.
All it was that he put Bauer in NA because of it and Gordon said that he was ineligible to moved to NA and Jim protested it but nothing came from it. Ateast in that post. It was all I could find.

Yeah, Yahoo decided to use the NA tag for administrative leave instead of SUS. If it was SUS, then the player can't be put on IL, so he would have to remain on active rosters. Since NA is only for players who are below rookie limits, Franco can't go there either, so has to stay on active roster.
