Last year I brought up a proposal that managers be able to buyout blue contract players, especially those of us with large payroll available. This was to buyout and remove a blue contract player from roster. I still don’t understand the current buyout option. If you could better explain what it is and what benefit it brings.

I think I also brought up a proposal about Guaranteed FA Won Contracts where if one of these players is picked up by another team you should be able to drop this player from your roster.

Maybe the term Buyout is not the right word for it?
Buyout is a place where all records for the league is stored for teams that release them (blue free agent won contracts)back into free agency.
I have some thoughts on this and will run it by the Board on making some changes to free agency.
