Once a player clears waivers does it the go to FA process? In the case of DeGrom does his current salary appt or a FA salary apply? Yes that will the case when Free Agency opens up in March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So he is still my property ? Yes Walker is still on your team roster and that’s why we maintain a spreadsheet. Any player that is not on your Yahoo team roster but is on your team spreadsheet roster you will email me that list so I can add them manually. Just make sure you have the room on your Yahoo team roster so I can add them. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I’m so sorry you are going to have to make sooooo many changes lol

So why did the draft untimely end before all picks were completed? I still had a pick to make at 21? Did I miss something???

Also there might be a few international players that signed an MLB contract for a non-league franchise(LAD) Yoshinobu Yamamoto - LAD - SP comes to mind as he will be on the MLB roster to start the season most likely. If not he'd be eligible fo a MiLB roster spot until he reaches 50 IP this year.

Question about spreadsheet - why my players contacts (Megill, Manning Volpe) change from to 2024 to 2023?

They haven't signed a Contract for this season yet, green contracts just mean the amount is the league minimum or their previous years contract amount, red contract is an estimate amount or average if we don't have an exact amount, golden is an MLB Free Agent with last year's contract amount. These will all change usually by the end of April as contracts are renewed or agreed to by then. Blue stays the same. I will be checking all teams when I get a chance to though.

Because technically they haven't officially signed a 2024 contract yet. Pre-Arbitration MLB players get renewed every year, usually just before the season starts. Most will be at MLB minimum, but a few will be for slightly above. Once they are renewed they will be black contracts for 2024.

I noticed on my roster spreadsheet that I have contracts for two players for 2023, highlighted in gold/yellow shading. Why are they still on my spreadsheet and counting against my salary cap with expired contracts? Shouldn't they be Free Agents by now? Please advise.

See previous responses. They remain your players until you waive them.

As a Dynasty League all players remain on your roster until you Waive or Trade them. At anytime a player becomes an MLB free agent you can waive them at no cost going forward, even if they have a Free Agent won Blue Contract. Being designated for assignment does not make them a free agent until they have passed through MLB waivers. In a guaranteed Blue Contract you have show proof of them being a MLB free agent to not have to pay their contract for it’s league signed duration for everyone’s information

FA question: I’ve won three FA bids. I posted contract value and duration. All three will be on my roster. Do I need to post the three moves under Roster Moves? If so, Can they all be in one post or three individual posts?

One post is fine. Remember to also post any players you have put on waivers (if any).

FA question: I’ve won three FA bids. I posted contract value and duration. All three will be on my roster. Do I need to post the three moves under Roster Moves? If so, Can they all be in one post or three individual posts? Not necessary as the players are moved into your team’s MLB Roster moves thread. I’m trying to simplify this a bit by just moving player threads to where they belong without GMs from posting more than is necessary for tracking purposes. When you move a player to or from the MLB Roster or the IL please post individually as per the “Barry Bonds” example. Any movement for a player will be done in one player thread. Thanks for a great question by the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
