Your active roster limit is 26 players. Players who are on IL (not DTD) or on your NA protected list do not count toward the 26. If you have more than 26 active players, you must either cut them or trade them to get down to 26. If a player comes off IL, he must be added back to the active roster, cut, or traded. At no time can you have more than 26 active players. NA protected can stay on the list even if they are active as long as they have less than 130 ABs or 50 IP this season. So once a player hits 130 ab or 50 innings pitched during the season, they have to be called up ? |

Any player you decide to release/cut/waive needs to be posted in Waivers first! If the player already has a post in your team list should have “To Waivers” so we keep a player to just one thread on ProBoards. Thank you.

Milt - Rays sign Francisco Mejia - TB - C - 3 Years - League Minimum - I posted on my team and in FA thread but do not see him listed on my spreadsheet. Please advise if it just has not been updated yet?

Please advise if it just has not been updated yet? He’s not in Yahoo and he’s currently signed to a Minor League contract which means he’s not eligible until he is on the MLB roster. How do we treat a player who Is on a minor league contract and not in the Yahoo database? I have Jesse Chavez who is in this situation.

He's on your spreadsheet. You can keep him there until CWS offer him a MLB contract before March 28. However, speaking now as an owner, what do you need a 40-year-old who only pitches well when he's on Atlanta? There were 90 guys who had more SV/HD last year. Wait until everyone has adjusted their rosters in yahoo, then find a guy to bid on. If you wait until Wednesday, the 1-year option becomes available. I see few already who you might want to look at. Remember, unless it's a Dodger or Padre, season doesn't start until the 28th.
